April 21, 2008 — BondBlokeDue to some recent infringments I would like to make it quite clear that I hold the copyright to anything written, and any photographs (unless otherwise stated) that has been posted here. I do not mind anyone using any of my material, but I would state that they will need my permission to do so; this means that you ask first, not take the material and ask aftewards.
Myth #5: It’s okay to use anything as long as I give credit
No. For copyright law, the question is whether you have permission. If you don’t have permission, you’re infringing.

I will only give permission for my material to be used if I am credited as being the author of the said material. I would also state that I do not object to links back to my material except in instances where someone has quoted my material under the guise of another author, as as happened here:-

This sort of behaviour I will not tolerate, and will treat it as an infringement of my copyright. As far as I am concerned any infringement of my copyright will be vigourously pursued.
